Crowned Ms India 2025 and honored with the unique global title of Ms Digital Eco Queen 2025, Sabitha Sriram represents a powerful new narrative—where technology, ecology, ethics, and creativity converge. With a background in technology security, risk, and governance, Sabitha is redefining what modern leadership looks like in an age driven by Artificial Intelligence and environmental urgency.
Her vision is clear: AI for Social Good—clean water, clean air, and clean land—powered by human-centered design and guided by compassion.
“Digital Eco Queen”: A Title with Purpose
For Sabitha, the title Digital Eco Queen is not ceremonial—it is transformational. Rooted in human-centered design and ethical AI, it symbolizes how technology can be leveraged for ecological conservation at scale.
She draws inspiration from global models—Japan’s solar energy leadership, advances in photovoltaic research, and the use of geospatial technology to protect forests, farms, and water bodies. A standout example is The Ocean Cleanup’s collaboration with AWS, where AI and cloud computing are used to:
- Detect plastic debris across vast oceans
- Predict debris movement patterns
- Optimize cleanup operations for maximum impact
- Protect marine ecosystems during recovery
“Strategic investment in AI-driven conservation research is essential,” Sabitha emphasizes. “Learning from environmentally conscious nations and adapting innovation locally is how India can lead sustainably.”
Art, Poetry, and Advocacy: Creativity as a Compass
An artist, author, and poet, Sabitha finds balance through nature itself. The music of flowing water, rustling leaves, and birdsong fuels her creativity. For her, art and literature are the songs of the soul—anchoring her activism and keeping her grounded in values.
A Vision for a Floral & Sustainable India
Sabitha envisions garden cities—places of joy, clean air, and learning—where flowers bear fruits and fragrance becomes a symbol of wellbeing. Supporting this vision, she champions initiatives like Farmer.Chat by Digital Green, an international NGO operating in India, Ethiopia, Kenya, and Nigeria.
This AI assistant helps smallholder farmers (85% women) with real-time, climate-smart advice by analyzing:
- Local weather patterns
- Crop data and fertilizer needs
- Digital Green’s video knowledge bank
It’s a living example of compassion over capitalism, where AI uplifts livelihoods and strengthens food security.
Ethics at the Core of AI Progress
In a fast-paced AI era, Sabitha believes human centricity must guide innovation. Embedding AI ethics—bias reduction, robustness, transparency, and validity—ensures technology predicts droughts, famines, and weather responsibly while increasing yields and resilience.
Discipline as Balance, Not Rigidity
Discipline, to Sabitha, is consistency with adaptability. Strategic thinking, foresight, inventiveness, and compassion—paired with ethics—create the right conditions for meaningful outcomes, even amid uncontrollable variables.
Roots that Shape the Leader
Her family—especially her mother and grandmother—instilled core values: nurturing the spirit, removing weeds to let roses bloom, growing organic vegetables, honoring cleanliness, and staying close to nature. These early lessons shaped a leader who blends strength with humility.
Using the Ms India Platform for Empowerment
As Ms India 2025, Sabitha advocates for women across roles often undervalued—mothers, teachers, nurses, caregivers, and organ donors—while amplifying inclusion for transpeople, persons with disabilities, and marginalized communities. Her message to youth:
Use social media to learn and create—not to compare. Empowerment begins with kindness, dignity, and social justice.
A Message to the Next Generation
“Choose skills and inspiration over popularity,” Sabitha urges. She highlights digital safety—combating stalking, bullying, revenge porn—and protecting personal data online. Emotional intelligence and creativity are as vital as digital awareness.
Spirituality, Oneness, and Leadership
Guided by spirituality, Sabitha reveres mother, motherland, mother tongue, and teachers. Inspired by Vivekananda and universal philosophies, she sees divinity in every human being—queen or commoner. Truth (Satyameva Jayate) and Dharma anchor her leadership with justice, compassion, courage, and love.
India’s Tomorrow: Tech with Harmony
Looking ahead, Sabitha dreams of an India where human–computer interaction fuels prosperity—AI researched and deployed for social good, alongside natural abundance and ecological harmony.
